This striking short film defines—simply and concisely—one of the world’s most misunderstood subjects: human rights. The informative and dramatic presentation shows the history of human rights from its origins in ancient times to the present-day Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Two couples enter the woods on a deep camping trip. Everything appears to be going well until Sam, a robotics researcher investigating artificial cells and they're compatibility with the human central nervous system, begins seeing things that couldn't possibly be there. It’s past midnight and Dani Ferris is a woman all alone, away from home. A woman who’s tired as hell, wanting nothing but a little tease of digital debauchery before shutting her eyes. A woman not even remotely prepared for the roller coaster of emotions she’s about to ride with a front-row seat. Sleep? Nope. Tonight is a night for friends, lovers, enemies, frenemies?, little guns, bigger guns, body parts, body fluids, body solids, love, hate, life, death, and things a hell of a lot more super than natural. A night Dani will never forget. And neither will he.

Human takes a focused look at individuals who have decided to do something bigger than themselves. Each episode explores the simple decisions they make, the way they live their lives, and how their stories inspire all of us to do more.
